BASIC JOB FUNCTION:
Responsible for ensuring the consistent replenishment of daily luggage cart inventory and making them accessible to terminal employees by physically retrieving and delivering luggage carts using a company flatbed truck. Additionally, maintaining stock levels and clearing designated airport areas of unattended luggage carts.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct safe transport of luggage carts between JFK terminals, air train platforms, and parking lots.
  • Properly load and unload the truck bed using correct techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with terminal leadership for deliveries and pickups.
  • Utilize flight information and terminal traffic patterns for efficient driving routes.
  • Inspect and upkeep company vehicle.
  • Adhere to all road rules and prioritize passenger traffic within terminal areas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
  • Independent worker with excellent time management skills.
  • High integrity and dedication to customer service.

  • Capability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.

  • 2+ years of prior driving experience and 4+ years in physical labor positions.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
  • Required: Airport Badge
  • Required: Valid Drivers License

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Lift 50 lbs. to waist height
  • Push/Pull 75 lbs. to move 15 carts simultaneously
  • Walk, stand, or sit for shift duration
  • Lift above head, bend, stoop

Experience:
  • Required: 4 years in physical labor positions
  • Required: 2 years of driving experience
Preferred
  • General knowledge of vended service products
