Maintenance Technician - Brooklyn, United States - Catapult Learning
Description
OVERVIEW
Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on Catapult Learning structures, buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Pick and pack supply and material orders
- Process supply and material orders via FedEx
- Receive and sign for shipments from thirdparty couriers, like FedEx and UPS
- Assemble and/or fix furniture, such as storage cabinets and desks
- Perform general housekeeping, such as sweeping and disposing of garbage
- Assist delivery driver with delivering supplies, material, and furniture to various schools
- Input data into our internal tracking system
- Friday 9:00 am
- 5:00 pm**
Compensation: $18$21/ Hour
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
OSHA certified a plus
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Be able to lift furniture (storage cabinets, desks, etc.), boxes and other material over 30 lbs.
- Ability to utilize tools, such as a drill, pliers, and screwdriver
- Valid driver's license
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
