The Regional Association is responsible for regional development and transportation. They organize public transportation in the region and continuously develop mobility options and connect them. They are also responsible for balanced use of regional land and work with member associations - the cities of Braunschweig, Salzgitter, Wolfsburg, and the districts of Gifhorn, Goslar, Helmstedt, Peine, and Wolfenbüttel - to develop regional concepts and plans for cross-cutting issues such as climate protection and water management.

We are currently seeking a full-time Employee for Public Transportation Planning for a permanent position starting as soon as possible. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience, up to pay grade 12 according to TVöD. The position is also suitable for part-time work.

Your Role

Your responsibilities include supporting the development of the 2025+ transportation strategy, particularly in regards to the (further) development of bus transportation and flexible service options, implementing the CVD/Clean Vehicle Procurement Act, continuously analyzing and adjusting bus transportation offerings, assisting with the preparation and awarding of bus transportation services, performance and quality control, processing approval applications, and coordinating and conducting participation meetings.
