Job Overview:
A Micro Soldering Technician holds the responsibility of working with minute, precise details related to soldering components in electronics. Their main tasks include inspecting, assembling, repairing, and modifying electronic components and assemblies. They make use of a variety of tools and equipment, including microscopes and soldering irons, to accomplish their work. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and proficiency in soldering techniques.
Duties:
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work instructions
- Assemble electronic components using soldering techniques
- Perform surface mount technology (SMT) soldering
- Inspect and test soldered connections for quality and accuracy
- High degree of concentration, steady hands and an eye for detail
- Troubleshoot and repair soldered components as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in soldering or electronics assembly
- Soldering charge ports and HDMI game ports
- Proficiency in soldering techniques, including throughhole and SMT soldering
- Familiarity with PCB assembly and electrical wiring
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Knowledge of power tools used in electronics assembly
- Basic understanding of logic controllers and electrical systems
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
