    Description
    /Job Summary

    + The Ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to month end close and financial statement preparation

    + Reporting directly to the CFO, the ideal candidate will be organized, analytical and will be the leader of the accounting team

    + Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

    + Lead the month-end close

    + Prepare all financial statements & reports for Senior Management team

    + Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and reports for senior management team

    + Other special projects as assigned

    + Manage the company's accounting operations, including establishing and enforcing financial policies, procedures, and controls

    Required Qualifications

    + Must have a Bachelor's or advanced Degree in Accounting

    + 5 Years of Professional Accounting Experience

    + CPA preferred

    + Working knowledge of Vista software is preferred

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

    + Strong Working Knowledge of GAAP and ability to perform technical accounting research

    + Comprehensive knowledge of month-end and year-end close activities
