Description
Looking for a Pre-K Teacher Assistant for our 3K/4K classroom.

DOE schedule and calendar. Must be open to working Mon-Fri 7.5-8hr workdays, 12-months contract. Experience with young children is a must. Must be open to obtaining TA Level 1 certificate and food certificate (DOE and DOH requirements respectively).


Duties:


  • Working in classroom of 1518 children ages 35 years old
  • Working in partnership with other teaching staff
  • Prepping learning materials
  • Light cleaning, organizing.
  • Be able to carry 40lbs. (weight of a small child)
  • Managing hygiene and diet of young children
  • Making decisions for the wellbeing for young children
  • Communicating with other team members and parents of students

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract


Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
