Are you interested in technology and physics and have a good understanding of mathematics? Then the apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician at PI in Karlsruhe starting in September 2024 is just right for you.

After a comprehensive basic training in the mechanical and electronic workshop, you will be immediately integrated into production.

Throughout your three and a half year apprenticeship, competent supervisors will be there to support you with advice and assistance.

After successfully completing your apprenticeship, interesting tasks in our production await you.


Your tasks during the apprenticeship:

  • You will learn about processes in precision mechanics, electronics, and pneumatics.
  • You will become familiar with electrical and nonelectrical measuring variables.
  • Measuring electrical and nonelectrical measuring variables will also be part of your tasks.
  • You will learn how to program commands (Step7).
  • Assisting in production will also be part of your apprenticeship.

What you should bring:

  • Secondary school diploma with a minimum grade average of 3.0
  • Good grades in mathematics and physics
  • Teamwork skills and willingness to learn new things
  • Interest in science and technology
  • Manual dexterity
