Occupational Safety & Health Specialist (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • You advise our clients on the design of workstations, work processes, and the use of work equipment and substances - taking into account § 6 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the requirements of the DGUV
  • With your expertise, you determine suitable measures to prevent work and health hazards and conduct risk assessments and their documentation
  • You also confidently conduct occupational safety training and support in the selection of personal protective equipment
  • Investigating work accidents and determining their causes is also part of your job
  • You use your network to maintain contact with occupational safety authorities and accident insurance carriers and to expand your customer base

Qualifications

  • Master's degree / technician or degree in safety engineering, with at least 2 years of professional experience
  • Expertise according to § 7 Occupational Safety and Health Act or qualification as an occupational safety specialist
  • Additional qualifications as a fire protection officer or playground inspector desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong communication skills to create meaningful and precise documentation and reports
