Job Summary:
This job posting is for a Welder / Tanker trailer Mechanic
Looking for an experienced welder with shop skills and abilities
to be able to become weld certified (x-ray examination) of test welds to be able to weld on code barrels
(Not looking for a production type welder)
Pay scale from the high $25 per hour to low $35 per hour depending on experience
Types of tanker trailers that we work on are (Petroleum, Chemical, Pneumatic, Asphalt, Non-code)
Weld test to be performed at time of interview, SS & Alum, in all positions
You will need to set up weld for material to be welded, you will be performing both Tig and Mig welds
30% of this job is welding, rest is mechanical
We are willing to train the mechanical portion
Air Disc and Drum brakes
