Cannabis Production Technicians

We're hiring in our Production Department including:

entry-level Harvest Technician

- entry-level Trim Technician
- entry-level Post Production Technician (Joint Roller)

Product Deliveries

Position Description
Assist the production team in all aspects of post production operations. This is an active environment focusing on the processing, harvesting, and packaging of plant material.

Production teams include the following tasks:
harvesting, drying, curing, trimming, packaging, sales fulfillment, Delivering and joint Production.

We're looking for folks ready to join our growing team for the long-term.

Responsibilities and Expectations
This position includes, but is not limited to the following:

Assisting with cutting down plants
Moving plants and material from one room to another
Maintaining a clean workspace compliant with the rules and regulations
Running, cleaning, and otherwise maintaining machinery specific to Post Harvest tasks
Organizing large quantities of product
Organizing and recording Biotrack tags according to Illinois standards
Following proper safety protocol at all times
Communicating with team members and management to accomplish tasks assigned
Keeping track of separate strains and harvest batches
Burping material
Ability to work as a team and individually
Weigh and record plants and material
Move totes from one area to another
Production schedule/environment

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to Manger of the specific Department

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Production facility experience (cannabis preferred)
Ability to maintain a strong work ethic while performing repetitive tasks
Experience operating machinery or being mechanicallyinclined is a plus
Great organizational skills, communication, and growthmindset
Cannabis postharvest experience is a plus
Service industry background
Ability to remain grounded in a startup work environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / ENVIRONMENT

Available to work 40+ hours per 7day week (M-F) Occasional Weekends
Able to lift 50 lbs
Ability to be on feet moving around all day (harvest)
or being seated all day (trim)

Must be at least 21 years of age and have ability to pass a background check to obtain a Illinois cannabis badge.

Pay:
From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Benefits:
