Description

The Quality Control Chemist performs analytical testing of raw materials, in-process, finished products following protocols and procedures (SOP's) and company policies.

Receive and log incoming raw materials or final products to schedule for analysis.
Prepare sample for QC/QA analysis through standard preparation, extraction, and dilution techniques.
Perform QC/QA analysis on raw materials or final products using instrumentation such as pH meter, Densitometer, HPLC, ICP and other techniques.
Perform short

- and long-term stability studies on raw and finished products.

Support other senior staff Chemist in sample analysis for QC/QA or R&D activities.
Ability to work in a team collaboratively and have ability to recognize unexpected results and independently work to solve the problem.
Utilize multiple types of chemistry (ie. formulations, analytical, and organic chemistry) and develop procedures as needed.
Create reports and required documentation needed for products such as registration documents, certificates of analyses, method writeups, standard operating procedures, and summary reports.
Document and record all raw data (i.e. sample weights, instrument calibration data, sample results, etc.) following company policies and procedures.
Maintains familiarity on use of all applicable equipment, systems, and procedures (SOPs).
Maintains current and accurate documentation.
Follow all EH&S Procedures and exhibit safe working behavior. Participate in Facility EH&S meetings and complete all assigned EH&S training.
