Description

The Institute for Solar Energy Research (ISFH) is a research institution of the state of Lower Saxony and an affiliated institute of Leibniz University Hannover. For over 30 years, we have been conducting research in the field of solar thermal and photovoltaic energy utilization. In the Solar Systems department, we are currently seeking a Scientist (m/f/d) - SY802 with a background in energy or process engineering, renewable energies, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, building services engineering, mathematics, physics, or related fields.

In several collaborative projects with research and industry partners, we are investigating the use of renewable heat supply for multi-family houses, large non-residential buildings, and even entire neighborhoods using geothermal and solar thermal (PVT) heat pump solutions. These solutions are being analyzed and optimized in the laboratory, in the field, and through simulation, with a focus on energy efficiency and hygiene. The results will be disseminated nationally and internationally through scientific publications.
