Description

Essential Functions:

  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Verifies and maintains all equipment arriving and/or departing equipment yard and document activities accordingly
  • Loads and unloads equipment and attachments, conduct, inspect, and report condition of equipment
  • Provides daily notifications for all inventory items leaving and/or returning the equipment yard through the Shipping and Receiving function
  • Maintains equipment with fuel as required and document consumed through the shipping and receiving function
  • Performs and conducts random cycle counts of parts, daily
  • Performs and conducts physical inventory counts of new & used machines (with associated parts) and customer machines, weekly
  • Performs and conducts physical inventory counts of parts, semiannually
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Safely and effectively operate forklifts up to 32,500 lbs.

  • The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to prepare reports and maintain records
  • The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One or more years of workrelated skill, knowledge, or experience is preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift is required

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Travel:

  • Up to 10% travel maybe expected
  • Valid Driver's License

Physical Requirements:

  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position and frequently moves about inside and outside of maintenance bays
  • Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
  • Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
  • Ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climb up and down ladders
  • Be able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment
  • Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work

Work Environment:

  • Regularly works outdoors around heavy steel products and various pieces of equipment
  • May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
  • Noise level may be loud at times
  • Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, steam, highpressure water, and highspeed rotating equipment
