Job Purpose / Objective

The Warehouse Manager assists the Executive Director and works closely with the Program Manager to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient warehouse operations.

The manager oversees the physical space of the warehouse, assists with inventory, leads partner distribution days, trains others in warehouse procedures, provides monthly reporting, and performs administrative duties as needed.

The Warehouse Manager is the face of ShareBaby in the warehouse and works closely with community distribution partners, volunteers, and visitors.

Essential Functions & Primary Duties

• Receiving and processing bulk shipments containing diapers and other essential items.
• Accurately maintain and record incoming and outgoing inventory counts.
• Processing, tracking, and meticulous data entry of substantial inkind donations and deliveries.
• Works very closely with the Program Manager to review monthly partner orders and coordinate the corresponding order distribution.
• Aids partners during order pickup and provides customer service support to all visitors and callers to the warehouse.
• Ability to work during normal business hours. Conduct opening and closing procedures.
• Manage product deliveries including physical unloading.
• Keep the warehouse facility clean and neat.
• Operate pallet jack, forklift, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Lead and coordinate weekly partner distribution days.
• Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Gather and report comprehensive monthly distribution and inventory data.
• Assign and prepare volunteer tasks.
• Leading volunteer group sessions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or the Community Engagement Specialist.
• Learning and utilizing all warehouse related technology and software.
• Attending staff meetings and communicating with other staff members in a respectful and professional manner.
• Responsible for conducting cycle counts, ensuring inventory accuracy, and overseeing annual audit.
• Attendance at afterhours or special events is required 34 times per year.
• Strategically researches and evaluates purchasing options for warehouse equipment and inventory focusing on quality and costeffectiveness.

Qualifications Required

• Respectful and Helpful Customer Service experience is a must.
• Access to a car is extremely helpful, though not a requirement.
• Passion for the vision, mission, and values of ShareBaby.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge/experience using Salesforce CRM and DEAR/Cin7 Inventory Systems.
• Flexibility to meet the changing needs and requirements of the organization from time to time.

Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for significant periods of time.


Required Hours, Benefits, Holidays, and Vacation

• 40 hours per week on a 9am5pm schedule.

Salary Range:
$65,000-$70,000
