Computes, classifies, records, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:


  • Prepares financial reports related to Retail Pharmacy operations.
  • Assists with preparing monthly statistical data.
  • Analyzes various accounts.
  • Assists with signing up and monitoring third party payers.
  • In charge of reinsurance claim filing, monthly reporting and tracking of claim submissions.
  • May be required to work overtime during peak periods.

Education and Experience
Associate Degree in Accounting or appropriate work experience.


Certification and Licensure
Pharmacy Technician


Skills and Abilities
Very high degree of accuracy required in calculation and recording

Strong interpretive and analytical skills

Computer and calculator skills


Special Physical Demands


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to operate a keyboard repetitively, talk, and hear.

The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
