    About the Company:

    HUGO BOSS is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Manager, General Accounting. In this position, you will oversee and coordinate General Accounting functions for HUGO BOSS in the United States and Canada. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS, managing general ledger tasks, acting as the main point of contact for financial matters, and ensuring adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards.



    What you can expect:

    Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
    • Ensure timely and accurate financial closings.
    • Supervise daily accounting operations.
    • Lead internal and external audits.
    • Oversee preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations.
    • Provide guidance and training to accounting staff.
    • Manage general accounting entries in SAP.
    • Review and reconcile intercompany transactions.
    • Execute consolidation within US entities.
    • Maintain fiscal files and records.
    • Adjust accounting practices based on IFRS regulations.
    • Document internal procedures for compliance.
    • Act as the primary contact for accounting queries.
    Additional Responsibilities:
    • Drive improvements in accounting processes.
    • Assist in system development projects.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance.
    • Perform other duties as needed.

    Your profile:
    • BS/BA in Finance or Accounting, MBA is a plus.
    • 7+ years of accounting/finance experience.
    • Expertise in IFRS principles and practices.
    • Experience in managing teams.
    • Familiarity with SAP (R/3) is beneficial.
    • Industry knowledge in Retail/WHS/eCommerce is advantageous.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft applications.
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
    • Detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and resilient.
    • Strong communication and project management skills.
    • Capability to multitask and meet deadlines.
    Your benefits:
