JOB SUMMARY
Coordinates and supports quality assurance processes, initiatives, continuous improvement efforts and customer fulfillment.

Assists operations and quality management to ensure process control and product conformity is satisfied in accordance with established procedures and policies.

Supports organization by performing the following duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties as assigned.**- Management of Document Control System in accordance with QMS requirements through generation, revision and release of formal procedures and work instructions.

Ensure documented procedures are complete and compliant to AS9100 standard.

  • Support and conduct companywide QMS training for new and existing employees.
  • Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance Ensure Calibration and Preventive Maintenance Registrars are up to date and accurate. Monitor for equipment calibration due dates, obtain quotes and schedule outsourced calibration appointments, conduct internal verifications on equipment as necessary, review calibration and verification documentation for completeness.
  • Complete qualityrelated customer surveys in conjunction with company Compliance
  • Coordinate and conduct Internal Audits within an AS9100 certified quality Support and participate in 2nd and 3rd party audits of Quality Management System.
  • Assist quality / production in process investigations as they relate to quality
  • Provide support toward the development / revision of inspection process method
  • Gather data, run reports and post monthly key process indicators (KPI).
  • Effectively navigate company ERP system including Inventory Module, Order Entry Module, Purchasing Module, Production Order Module.
  • Maintain quality records, e., inspection records, first article inspection, nonconforming. material records, etc. using company computer, database and filing systems.
  • Participate in company sponsored training and process improvement activities.
  • Comply with all ICC Policies as defined in the ICC Employee Handbook.
  • Adhere to all applicable elements of ICC Quality Management System.

Requirements:


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) or equivalent relevant business experience and minimum 2 years' experience in Quality
  • Experience in an ISO9001 work environment. (AS9100 knowledge / background a plus).
  • ISO or AS Auditor Certification preferred.
  • Hands on experience in (valueadd) product assembly techniques, processes, and work instructions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must be a US Citizen due to Naval Contractual Agreements.
  • Must be able to report to assigned office location, (Lumberton, NJ) office during scheduled inoffice workdays

Note:
_This position is full time in office._

  • Ability to learn & perform multiple tasks with excellent organization and prioritization, in a fastpaced team environment.
  • Familiarity with Regulatory / Statutory directives and/or guidelines.
  • Ability to read / interpret drawings and technical specifications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to sit, stand, walk, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers.


Exerting up to 10 pounds of force regularly, and occasionally up to 25 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.


Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity to perform activities such as: inspecting manufactured parts (with and without magnification), preparing/analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.

Distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to distinguish colors and color variation of physical parts and components, and in documentation such as work instructions and engineering drawings.

WORKING CONDITIONS:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
