HERE YOU WILL WORK:

For our client, a renowned and globally operating company in shipbuilding, we are looking for a team leader for finance and accounting.

Highly qualified teams take on the design, planning and construction of custom-made ships equipped with state-of-the-art ship technology. The company also provides comprehensive customer service, ensuring all-round care from new construction to maintenance.

THESE ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

In your leadership role, you will lead the finance and accounting team both professionally and disciplinarily
You will be responsible for preparing and creating monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code) as well as making VAT returns on time
You will also handle the bookkeeping for various companies and support in controlling
You will also be responsible for professional communication with external stakeholders such as banks, tax authorities, and auditors
Finally, you will take on special projects and continuously optimize processes within your team
