Qualifications:

- *High school or equivalent (preferred)

Our optometry office is looking for an experienced, full-time optician/optometric technician. Compensation varies on experience.


Job Summary:

• Frame and lens selection/styling, dispensing/adjust/verifying frames, inventory/ordering and pricing frames, manage frame displays/maintain dispensary,

• Contact lenses

• Dispense, insertion/removal CL training, contact lens trials and ordering.
• Verify, explain patient's insurance, other administrative duties,
• Prepare examination, pretest rooms, and pretests, light house keeping
• Perform tests and imaging for patients

Experience and Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to multi task efficiently.
• Interest in building and contributing new ideas and a team player.
• Humor is highly encouraged

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (flexible)
• No weekends
• 8 hr shift
