Description

The Division of Disaster Recovery and Mitigation (DRM) is seeking a motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to oversee the planning and development of its software system to support the division's business process.

Responsibilities

Oversees the endtoend software development cycle to ensure ontime delivery of projects
Develop and maintain the project schedule and any changes to the scope
Assist in definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring alignment and technical feasibility
Identifies opportunities to improve business process through IT solutions
Establish KPI and other reporting metrics to present to management.
Successfully manage the relationship with stakeholders and communicates effectively to management and team members.
Drives the management, mitigation and resolution of project related issues, risks and conflicts.

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree
5+ years IT Project Management Experience.
Proficiency in project management software (MS Project), and office products (MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and across all levels of management.
Strong negotiation, conflict management skills.
Critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
Planning and organizing, decisionmaking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

PMP (Project Manager) Certification

Job Types:

$55.00 per hour
