Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides/Personal Care Assistant.

As an HHA/PCA, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes, assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.

Short Hour cases in
Queens (Zip Codes: 11368, 11101, 11413, 11434,


Responsibilities:


  • Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Help patients with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques when necessary
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to any dietary restrictions or special instructions
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care provided
  • Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality

Skills:


  • Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Ability to lift and move patients safely and comfortably
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others
