Entry Level Event Coordinator
Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events from inception to completion.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all event details are executed seamlessly.
- Research and source venues, vendors, and suppliers for events, negotiating contracts and agreements as needed.
- Coordinate with marketing and design teams to develop promotional materials and signage for events.
- Assist in postevent evaluations and reporting, gathering feedback from clients and attendees to improve future events.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in event management, suggesting innovative ideas to enhance event experiences.
- Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining event databases, managing RSVP lists, and processing invoices.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detailoriented mindset with a focus on delivering highquality results under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with event management software/tools is desirable.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours as required by event schedules.
