- Developing in-depth industry knowledge in assigned property sectors
- Providing detailed company and financial analysis of publicly traded real estate companies and property markets
- Running, maintaining, and continually enhancing proprietary security screening and valuation tools
- Assessing the capabilities of each company's senior management team through one-on-one meetings and quantitative measures
- Formulating recommendations to the remainder of the investment team for names in your coverage universe
- Writing and presenting research reports as needed
- 1 - 5 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Major in Finance, Real Estate or related field preferred
- Excellent communicator with strong writing skills
- Well-organized, detail oriented and deadline driven
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and handle ambiguity
- Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and operate with a high degree of diligence and accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel and Word

Our Chicago office is seeking an Equity Analyst to join its Public Real Estate Securities team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who is highly analytical, collaborative and has a strong interest in publicly traded securities and real estate.
