On behalf of our client (direct placement), we are currently seeking a Deputy Head of Housekeeping (m/f/d) for a 4-star hotel located between Kassel and Fulda in White Settlement, TX.

The candidate has the option to take over the department's leadership in spring 2023.

We are looking for a candidate who values cleanliness and order and enjoys working both in the foreground and background in a modern, well-equipped hotel situated in a historic setting.

Responsibilities:

What you will be doing for our client:

You will support the head of housekeeping in managing the 8-person team and completing administrative tasks
You will create schedules for staff and cleaning plans
You will inspect and approve rooms after cleaning
You will monitor cleaning supply inventory and restock as needed
You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and help with cleaning when necessary

Qualifications:

What you ideally bring with you:

Previous experience, preferably in a large hotel
Fluent in German, both written and spoken, with good interpersonal skills
Confident, loyal, and friendly when interacting with staff and guests
Dedicated, hardworking, and qualityconscious
Strong customer service skills and reliability
