Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Moldmaker to join our team. The Moldmaker will be responsible for creating and repairing molds used in the production of various plastic components. This is a key role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes.


Responsibilities:


  • Utilize knowledge of tooling and plastics injection molding to fabricate and repair molds
  • Operate hand tools, milling machines, and precision measuring instruments to create molds with high precision
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret CAD designs and specifications
  • Perform machining tasks using SolidWorks or similar software
  • Conduct regular maintenance on molds to ensure optimal performance

Skills:


  • Proficiency in using hand tools for mold fabrication
  • Strong understanding of machining techniques and processes
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for mold design
  • Ability to operate milling machines and other machining equipment effectively
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes
  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations

Pay:
$ $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
