    Position Overview:

    We're seeking a dedicated DCS Controls Engineer to join us in Waco, TX. In this role, you'll execute specialized tasks with efficiency, confidence, and competence. Attention to detail, commitment to deadlines, and a disciplined work ethic are essential traits for success in this position.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Delivering process and equipment automation services, with a focus on DCS and PLC control systems design and implementation.
    • Providing support, consultation, and training to end-users on new applications.
    • Contributing to project development and planning initiatives.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (ChE, EE, EET, ME, MET, or equivalent), or equivalent experience and training.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in:
    • Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Allen Bradley programming, including PLCs and HMI systems.
    • Control systems implementation, design, installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
    • Industrial application programming languages.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block.
    • Preference for candidates with paper industry experience and familiarity with Valmet DNA (training provided if necessary).

    Compensation:

    The target annual base compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $150,000, commensurate with qualifications.
