At the St. Hedwig Clinic, a university maternity clinic in Regensburg, more than 3,500 children are born each year. This makes it one of the most popular maternity clinics in Bavaria.

As a maximum care provider and part of the Barmherzige Brüder hospital network in Bavaria, the two locations, Barmherzige Brüder Hospital Regensburg and St.

Hedwig Clinic, care for 50,000 inpatients and 140,000 outpatients annually across 985 beds.


We are currently seeking a nursing department head (m/f/d) for the intensive care unit and neonatology, starting as soon as possible.

As part of the largest Level 1 perinatal center in Bavaria, both units have a total of 50 beds.

The KUNO Foundation (Children's University Hospital for Eastern Bavaria) is known for its many medical and infrastructural projects.

In 2022, we were able to establish our own breast milk bank and an innovative, multiprofessional simulation training for emergency care.


Responsibilities:

  • You will lead a team of over 90 nurses in the largest university maternity clinic in Germany, together with the team leaders.
  • You will actively participate in the training and further education of the nursing staff. For this purpose, you will have access to resources such as the simulation center and innovative methods like the Concord First Aid.
  • You will organize the staffing schedule according to needs and company guidelines
