Requirements:


  • Must be a high school graduate.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in revenue cycle management or account recievable collection.
  • Excellent letter writing skills, knowledge of word processors, and typing skills of 55 wpm.
  • Proficient in filing and record keeping.
  • Must be able to work in a healthcare setting that may involve working with the aged, chronically ill, and disoriented individuals.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks promptly and efficiently.
  • Must be neat in appearance and dress appropriately for the business office.
The Business Office Assistant will report to the Business Office Manager.


Job Duties:


  • 1. Daily census reconciliation and management.
  • 2. Revenue Cycle Management of Managed Medical and Traditional Medical accounts.
  • Resident Trust Fund Cash Management and Reconciliation
  • Insurance verification and reconciliation.
  • Maintain and update Treatment Authorization Requests and Logs.
  • 6. Mail private statements to guarantors.
  • 7. Cash posting and bank reconciliation.
  • Perform filing as directed.
  • Maintain collection records and logs.
  • Send, sort, and collect mail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Office Manager.
