    This individual will lead the day-to-day mandate of demonstrating program effectiveness and impact, both externally and internally, and equipping leaders and key stakeholders with compelling information and messaging to amplify and help scale these initiatives.

    The Communications Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility role requires the following experience:


    • minimum of 10 years of experience in PR/communications, creative storytelling skills, content creation and editing experience across media, internal, and social media channels, preferably with several years working on CSR or philanthropic campaigns (ideally in the private, agency, NGO, social, or non-profit sector).
    • Exceptional writing and communications skills are a must. A demonstrated capacity to develop, refine and transmit the various voices and messages of the company to key stakeholders (e. g., media, internal, executives, partners) is also critical. The individual must be creative, skilled in taking a rich, complex message and boiling it down to its essence.
    • We are looking for someone who is passionate about inspiring and engaging our employees, partners, and clients through creative storytelling. The individual should have a network of relationships with reporters, thought leaders in CSR, government or philanthropic arenas, and the ability to enlist and engage leading thinkers, influencers, and advocates to support our work.
    • The role requires a person who can thrive in a large organization, be comfortable working with ambiguity, provide leadership and direction, and gain consensus among various functions, while having the flexibility to lead with inspiration, resilience, and resolve.
    • The candidate will report to the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility for North America and collaborate very closely with the TCS North America corporate communications team to support social media and PR opportunities.
    • demonstrated capacity to develop, refine and transmit the various voices and messages of the company to key stakeholders (e.g., employees, executives, prospective employees, customers) is required.
    Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    External and Internal Communications


    • Look across the company at business, technology, customer, and employee stories and package them into a stream of engaging and creative content to disseminate via various communication channels (media outlets, social media, newsletters, intranet, videos, emails, presentations, webcasts, etc.)
    • Oversee all aspects of CSR initiatives across multiple channels and media (email, presentations, digital, reporting, content creation, etc.) to external and internal stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with North America corporate communications team members to align stories and campaigns with overall TCS initiatives and priorities.
    • Manage external awards and recognition by creating and submitting award applications.
    • Research, develop, design, edit, and publish communication deliverables as required.
    • Manage publishing of internal communications to promote company successes.
    Social Media


    • Contribute to the region's corporate social media handles, @TCS_NA on Twitter and @Tata Consultancy Services - North America on LinkedIn, working with the Social Media Manager to create compelling and engaging content.
    • Work with the North America corporate communications team and subject matter experts in different business groups to develop engaging content focused on CSR success stories, company initiatives, program launches, employee engagement, virtual and future in-person events, and more.
