- Technical certifications and/or applicable college courses. An Associates or Bachelor degree in a related field preferred. Multiple years of demonstrated expertise providing technical support.
- Has undergone a physical examination, by a licensed physician, that documents capability to perform required duties.
- Has an electronic fingerprint clearance from a criminal history record check.
- Maintain (e.g. install, troubleshoot, repair, etc.) desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, software and operating systems
- Manage and develop images for computers and devices
- Manage and support remote devices and access for staff and students
- Investigate solutions for various technical problems
- Ensure timely updates for operating systems and applications
- Monitor and address local cyber security concerns
- Track and manage inventory, warranties and repairs
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage licensing
- Maintain documentation, asset inventories, passwords and manage helpdesk tickets
- In coordination with the Systems Administrators manage end-user credentials and access to network resources, including file shares, printers, Internet and network services
- Provide on-call and after hours support as necessary
- Meet regularly with administration
- Regularly communicate with and assist local district staff on the proper use and maintenance of technology tools
- Networking including wireless, DHCP, TCP/IP, and Ethernet
- Internet services including HTTP, FTP, SSH, POP3, DNS and SMTP
- Specific software including Microsoft Office, Chrome, Google Workspaces, Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk, Solid Professor, Remote PC, Chief Architect, Mastercam
- Network security including malware and phishing protection, secure remote access, virus scanning and password management
- General A/V equipment, including projection equipment, audio sound systems and multimedia delivery systems
- Google Administration, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory and Mobile Device Management Tools
- A basic understanding of Microsoft administration tools and permissions
- Foster relationships with staff and students
- Collaborate with sending school districts IT departments
