We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CMM Programmer to join our growing team The CMM Programmer is responsible for inspecting parts to part print specifications and engineering requirements utilizing appropriate inspection methods.

This includes CMM programming utilizing Hexagon Metrology PC-DMIS, documenting proper inspection methods and reporting of results internally and on a global basis.

This role requires strong critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Inspects parts to part print specifications and engineering requirements using CMM and other inspection methodologies.
• Programs CMM's to part print.
• Documents procedures and proper inspection methods for mechanical parts.
• Collects, analyzes and, reports on inspection results for global use.
• Performs all assigned inspections of product, including but not limited to CMM inspection.

Skills & Experience:

• Working knowledge of Customer provided media: PO, blueprints and specifications.
• Working knowledge of the principles behind customer acceptance, flow down requirements, process specifications.
• 5+ years of experience as a CMM programmer/inspector in a manufacturing environment utilizing PC-DMIS software.
• Advanced applied/industrial metrology understanding. (Gage usage and inspection methods.).
• Advanced geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) skill.
• Understanding of AS9102 and / or other relevant First Article Inspection processes
• Works well independently and in a team environment.
• Possesses critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills.
• Possesses a keen eye for details to spot inaccuracies and poor quality in all documentation.
• Experience working in an AS9100 regulated environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to use and read measuring devices to include but not limited to calipers, micrometers or height gages.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Preferred Qualifications:_
• Working knowledge of PolyWorks a plus.
• Experience with Aberlink software.

Academic Requirements:

• High School Degree; Further qualifications are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit or stand up to 8 hours per day uninterrupted.

Pay:
$ $42.00 per hour
