At Santa Ynez Feed and Shavings we have two part time bookkeepers and are looking to fill one of the positions.

The Bookkeepers jobs duties include working closely with our Accountant to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.

• Ultimately, the Bookkeeper's responsibilities are to accurately record all daytoday financial transactions of our company including counting daily deposits, reporting through our Quickbooks/Lightspeed POS integration system and bringing deposits to the bank.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and data
• Coordinate meetings for the team to go over safety
• Report to the owner on a daily basis
• Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Assist in accounting tasks including journal entries and payroll processing
• Utilize 10key typing skills for data entry tasks
• Daily A/P and A/R entering and payment tracking
• Tech savy and POS experience is preffered

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper
• Proficiency in Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
