Your Role
Join Atlas Copco as a
Material Handler where you will oversee the receiving, handling, and shipping of all material. You will also record, track, and control all material through our inventory management system.

As part of the Service Center team, you will report to the Repair Shop Supervisor and work with production, service, planning, and purchasing.

This is an on-site position located in Deer Park, TX.

  • You will receive and handle all inbound and outbound materials, including the preparations, filing, and distribution of all documentation.
  • You will enter receipt and issuance of all material into our inventory system.
  • You will organize all materials for efficient incoming and outgoing flow of material.
  • You will make sure the material is correctly identified and placed in the proper location in the inventory storage system.
  • You will assist scheduling personnel by ensuring incoming material and stock inventory is complete, issued, and delivered to point of use.
  • You will prepare and ship all materials, including, compressor units using approved shipping document procedures.
  • You will coordinate the material inventory levels to ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • You will oversee the material receiving and receiver documentation reconciliation with the purchase order.
  • You will manage the accumulation of all parts and components, including current "accumulation list" for all material on the production floor.
  • You will ensure inventory management of shop supplies and tooling, including calibrated tooling.
  • You will perform delivery and pickup of parts from local vendors.

To succeed, you will need

  • You are a high school graduate.
  • You have one or more years of stockroom experience.
  • You can safely lift and handle up to 50 lbs.
  • You have knowledge of computerized inventory systems with the ability to learn new equipment to carry out functions of the department.
  • You have a valid driver's license.
