PURPOSERESPONSIBILITIES* - Manage Manufacturers Representatives in the Western US region
Grow sales in the Western Region
Monitor performance of Rep organization, direct activities and assist with customer development and relationships
Manage High Tech Distributor (HTD) partner business in the sales territory and interface with the HTD sales process
Target key accounts and penetrate them
Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing and prospective accounts
- Direct & guide efforts of sales, technical, customer service and production personnel as necessary to maximize sales opportunities
Implement the Rollon selling system and monitor compliance to the system
Keep management informed through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Manage opportunity list and grow the prospect list. Work with Reps to make sure that the CRM system and opportunity list are up to date and accurate.
Attend Trade Shows
Travel expected to be approximately 50% of the time and includes air, road and overnight trips
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bacherlor's Degree required (Engineering degree strongly preferred)
Prior experience successfully leading a sales team
At least 7 years of field sales experience,
_5 of which must be in the industrial motion or automation industry__Must have semi-conductor and/or medical device industry experience_
