General Statement of Duties
The primary responsibility of the Wealth Operations Manager is the strategic oversight of the Wealth Operations Team, including supporting the investment staff, trading, backing up treasury process, identifying process improvements and efficiencies and other various responsibilities of Client Services.
The Wealth Operations Manager will play a key role in optimizing operational processes, enhancing productivity and ensuring a seamless execution of wealth management services.
Job Description:
Responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of the Wealth Operations Team, to include: supporting the investment staff, trading, backing up treasury process, identifying process improvements and efficiencies and other various responsibilities of Client Services.
The Wealth Operations Manager will play a key role in optimizing operational processes, enhancing productivity and ensuring a seamless execution of wealth management services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide streamlined procedures and implement new processes, systems and tools.Identify and address operational risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within in the operations team.
Responsible for trading activities that include: executions of both equity and fixed income trades for Managed, Joint Advisory, and Custody accounts.
Interacts with Approved Brokers for trading execution completion. Save daily trade blotters and supporting documentation to Identifi and distributes to the PM team. Maintain records in appropriate system.Support requests from the Portfolio Manager team, Investment Strategy team, Trust Committee, bank auditors & examiners.
Keep Business Continuity information current for the Investment area through various systems.
Support Financial Advisor/Portfolio Management team with reviewing existing and potential client statements to be sure the assets can be brought in and held in the client accounts.
Report any potential issues with an asset to the FA/PM team.Qualifications:
An Associate degree in Business or Finance is required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
5+ years' experience required in the Investment/Trading field.
2+ plus years' Supervisory/Management experience required.
Advanced experience in investments required.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as foreign exchange rates, interest, percentages, multiplication and division.
Ability to organize and manage workload and propose adjustments when needed.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision,
Identify process/efficiency issues and develop and implement solutions.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in written or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.Document procedures.
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Client focus.
Prepare client documents and reports with accuracy.
Performs all duties conforming with Bank Policies and Procedures surrounding Regulatory
Compliance, including BSA/AML regulations and requirements.
