    Trident's global operations produce finished wild Alaska seafood products in 6 countries and its sales teams serve customers in over 50 countries.

    Trident employs approximately 9,000 people worldwide each year and partners with over 5,400 independent fishermen and crewmembers.

    Species harvested and processed by Trident include virtually every commercial species of salmon, whitefish, and crab harvested in the North Pacific and Alaska.

    The global supply chain also includes cultured and wild species from a network of trusted sources worldwide.

    The Tax & Treasury Analyst will be responsible for daily cash management, bank account reconciliations/reporting, analysis of foreign exchange exposures, cashflow forecasting, and supporting the cash and payment needs of the Alaska Operations team.

    They will also be responsible for preparing monthly tax filings and reconciliations, corporate income tax workpapers, maintaining tax depreciation file, and various other needs of the tax function.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong intellectual curiosity and drive to learn new skills.

    Key Tax Responsibilities :
    Prepare federal and state corporate income tax workpapers
    Preparation of various sales and use tax, excise tax, and property tax filings
    Fields questions related to sales and use tax from internal stakeholders
    Performs routine monthly and quarterly procedures including account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, account analysis and maintaining supporting documentation
    Maintain Tax Depreciation file on a monthly basis

    Key Treasury Responsibilities :
    Handles daily cash and funding activities including wire transfers and foreign currency transactions.
    Conducts bank and balance sheet account reconciliations and reporting.
    Handles daily cash receipts and reporting to support the credit department.
    Conducts cashflow forecast and analysis.
    Conducts FX exposure analysis.
    Supports cash and check payment activities at Alaska sites

    Additional Responsibilities:
    Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
    Acquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions
    Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings
    This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $75k to $88k.

    For full-time employees, the initial vacation benefit starts at 10 days per year, adjusted commensurate with relevant experience, and 7 days of sick leave per year (9 in Seattle), accrued bi-weekly.

    Commuter and transit programs are also available.
    A minimum of 2 years of experience in tax, treasury, banking, or accounting
    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Working towards CTP, MST, CPA, or related licensure
    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly dynamic environment and the ability to work with flexibility, efficiency, and diplomacy both individually and as part of a complex team effort
    Excellent written and oral communication skills, in positions requiring communication with a broad and diverse audience
    Experience with SAP
    Experience with Blackline
