The Flower Hospital campus is a 311-bed facility that houses the Hickman Cancer Center, ER Trauma Center, and is the regional leader for inpatient adult psychiatric services.
The campus includes, the Goerlich Center, which provides residence for patients with Alzheimer's and Dementia, along with the Ebeid Center our hospice facility.
Position Summary:
A Mental Health Professional is an individual who is trained to function under nursing supervision and assist the patient in meeting basic human needs.
Under supervision, provides to individual groups, care requiring the application of basic knowledge of the biological, physical, behavioral, environmental safety, spiritual, and social skills.
Care includes physical observation and data collection provision of direct patient care, and collaboration in implementation of plans of care.
Care of client takes into consideration their development capabilities and physiologic processes. Care is provided in collaboration with the therapies of other health care disciplines. Assures patient/significant other, Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare, or guardian is informed regarding plans of care.Job Requirements
