    Description

    Position Description


    • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A

    tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment

    or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

    • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls,

    glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

    • Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present

    (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required

    to participate in medical surveillance programs.

    • This is a bargaining unit position.


    • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include

    remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for

    extended periods of time.

    You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

    Position Duties/Responsibilities


    • You will perform routine and repetitive disassembly, repair, modification, assembly, testing, installation and maintenance on equipment of limited complexity such as subassemblies, printed

    circuit cards, and chassis to complete electronics systems.

    • You will operate automatic and standalone test equipment which is used to test/troubleshoot WRA's (Weapon Repairable Assembly and/or SRA's (Service Repairable Assembly's).

    • You will use standard hand tools and a variety off test equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, signal/pulse generators, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, and power supplies.

    • You will assist higher graded workers in complex fabrication, overhaul, modification, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complete systems, subsystems, and

    components.
