    Description

    Field Service Engineer

    Location: Albany, NY

    Salary: $38.00/hr to $45.00/hr

    This is a full-time, direct-hire position

    (Seeking an experienced technician for overhead cranes)

    Essential Functions of the Field Service Engineer:

    Travel to customer sites in a company vehicle

    Wire, inspect, troubleshoot and repair electric cranes

    Growth opportunity to become a full-service technician

    Requirements of the Field Service Engineer:

    Electrical experience

    Knowledge of wireless radio, controls, and variable frequency drives

    Must have crane and/or overhead hoist experience

    Must be computer literate and able to use a tablet

    Strong customer service skills

    Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights

    Occasional overnight travel, typically within New England

    Must possess a valid drivers license, and pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

    Full benefits including 3 weeks of paid time off
