Position Summary:


Support all internal and external customer needs in the area of customer account billing, including but not limited to billing questions, collection of delinquent accounts with the primary goal to satisfy and retain paying customers.


Position Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned:

  • Contact external customers who have invoices which are 30 to 150 days delinquent and attempt to collect past due balances with the aid of the Account Managers and Sales force and encourage the customers to make future payments on time.
  • Research and respond to all customer written and verbal requests and questions regarding invoices, statements and general billing questions.
  • This position has no direct reports.

Position Requirements:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) may include specialized or vocational courses.
  • One to two years' experience in a highvolume call center with account billing and collections experience required
  • Computer proficiency required; MS Excel and MS Outlook, MS Dynamics proficiency are required.
  • Experience with creating ledgers, Invoices, Data Entry, Processing Payments, knowledge of collection and banking practices of preferred.
  • Ability to diffuse conflict and resolve issues in an assertive but professional manner.
  • Frequent periods are spent sitting or standing in the same location with some opportunity to move about, or occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
  • Most of the time is spent communicating via voice, using hands to fingers to dial and use phones, typing on computer and reading messages from a monitor or a hard copy document.

Salary:
$ $27.93/hour


Compensation Range (USD): $34, $58,100.00 per year
