Position Overview:


The Busser plays a crucial role in maintaining the dining area, ensuring the smooth flow of service, and assisting the servers.

This position requires a motivated hospitality professional with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. Bussers are essential team members who contribute to creating memorable dining moments. They exhibit outstanding attention to detail, thrive in a team environment, and perform well under pressure.


General Requirements:


Responsibilities include clearing tables of food and utensils, resetting tables, providing water service, monitoring guest satisfaction, and assisting the kitchen in expediting service.

Must possess a pleasant, conscientious, and professional demeanor with excellent knowledge of food and alcoholic beverage selections.

Effective teamwork, clear communication, and ensuring quality service are essential aspects of this role.


Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a high-volume fine dining setting.

Exceptional communication skills.

Previous experience as a busser or server assistant in a full-service restaurant.

Quick learning ability and a penchant for retaining information.

Intellectual curiosity and a desire for continuous improvement.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Must have the physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods.


Grooming:


All employees are expected to maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards outlined in the Employee Playbook.


Language Skills:
Proficiency in effective communication with management, guests, and staff is essential.


Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include:
Most tasks are performed indoors in a moderately controlled restaurant environment.

Ability to stand and maintain mobility for at least 8 hours continuously.

Maneuvering between tasks occurring simultaneously with efficiency.

Lifting objects weighing up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.

Possible lifting of trays or items weighing up to 20 lbs.

Performing various physical tasks, including grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, and more.

Continuous talking and hearing during guest, supervisor, and employee communication.

Continual vision, primarily focused on near vision and depth perception.

Manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment.

Regularly standing, walking, sitting, talking, or hearing.

Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Ability to safely lift and maneuver items such as plates, cases of water, chairs, and dining room tables.
