BASIC REQUIREMENT(S):
In addition to Basic Requirements, candidates must meet the Minimum Qualifications listed below:
Degree: Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from a US or Canadian school accredited by recognized bodies mentioned in the post.
Foreign Medical School Degree:
Candidates with a foreign medical degree must demonstrate knowledge equivalent to US accredited schools. This can be validated through various certifications and exams.
Licensure:
Applicants must hold a current, active license as a Physician from a US state, DC, or US territory.
Graduate Training:
After earning the medical degree, candidates should have at least 1 year of supervised clinical experience. This can be gained through internships or residency programs recognized by accrediting bodies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates need to exhibit specialized experience equivalent to the grade level required for the position. Additionally, completion of 4 years of graduate training in the specialty is expected.
Board Certification:
Board Certification is crucial for this role. Candidates should be certified in the relevant specialty by ABMS or AOA or be actively pursuing board certification.
