Information Security Manager


Overview:


Responsibilities:


  • Manage Security Operations: Oversee all aspects of Security Operations, including monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
  • Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures. Lead investigations into security incidents, coordinate response efforts, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Threat Detection and Mitigation: Implement and manage security tools and technologies for continuous threat detection and mitigation. Stay updated with the latest threats and security trends.
  • Security Monitoring: Establish and maintain a robust security monitoring program. Monitor security events, analyze logs, and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
  • Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Security Awareness: Conduct security awareness training programs for employees to enhance security awareness and promote a culture of security.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and thirdparty partners to ensure the security of external systems and services.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits. Identify and prioritize security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of security professionals. Provide guidance, support, and training to enhance team capabilities and performance.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular reports on security metrics, incidents, and trends to senior management. Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and incidents.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIH, GMON) are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, NIST, PCI DSS).
  • Experience in managing incident response, conducting security assessments, and implementing security controls.
