Department Overview
Operations Support is dedicated to creating cross-commodity consistency and standards in Operations. The team providessupport services guided by best practices and a relentless pursuit for improvement.
It has single points of accountability forWork Management & Resource Planning, Execution Support, Business Operations & Process Improvement,and Enterprise Public Works.
Operations Support is comprised of approximately 1,000 coworkers.Position Summary
The Business Performance Analyst analyzes processes and utilizes six sigma techniques to develop and recommend operational process improvements. He/She manages cross functional teams and partners with peers and leaders on process change implementation and ongoing measurement. The incumbent may own ongoing process management or administration.
The incumbent also provides business analytics information, including research, data analysis, metric implementation, forecasting, and reporting in support of business decision making, strategy and operations.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of thejob posting.
This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job.The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.

Job Responsibilities
Projects are moderately complex and require selecting methods, approaches, and tactics to resolve problems and obtain solutions.
Applies judgment and standard analysis techniques to solve problems of diverse scope.
Typically receives general instructions on new assignments or projects. Receives little instruction on recurring assignments.
May assist in coaching and developing less experienced staff.
Plans, performs, and implements performance improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma techniques.
Diagrams and evaluates existing processes. Organizes, leads, and facilitates cross-functional project teams. Communicates team progress to manager.
Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, indicating future improvement opportunities.
Determines data needs, collects data, selects from different analyticaltechniques to conduct root cause analysis, and determine issues.
Collects data to identify root cause of problems. Measures performance against process requirements. Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance.
Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
3 years of relevant business, operational, financial, or process improvement experience
May be required to travel to various company locations
Compliance with ergonomic recommendations and vigilance in safety is expected.
Desired:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, or Business Administration
