    About the Job:

    • As a passionate Director, Program Manager at USAA, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing resources to efficiently manage programs or projects. Your role includes providing guidance to project managers, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies, and driving change initiatives.

    We offer a flexible work environment where you will be required to be in the office four days a week. This position is available in various locations such as San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, or Tampa, FL, or you can work remotely from anywhere in the continental U.S., with occasional travel.

    Unfortunately, relocation assistance is not provided for this role.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and integrate multiple business programs to achieve strategic goals.
    • Lead complex, strategic programs within a portfolio.
    • Manage program scope, schedule, and budget.
    • Consult with executives to plan and implement departmental programs.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and develop business strategies.
    • Build and lead a team through recruitment, development, and performance management.
    • Ensure governance and risk management for work efforts.
    • Drive organizational changes and adoption of new processes.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 8 years of project or program management experience.
    • Minimum 3 years of team management experience.
    • Experience in Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
    • Strong understanding of risk management and program evaluation.
    • Proficiency in change management methodology.
    • Extensive budget development and reporting experience.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience in complex regulatory matters and financial crimes governance.
    • Knowledge of relevant federal and state laws and regulations.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to drive cultural change.
    • Previous military experience is a plus.

    What We Offer:

    Compensation: USAA offers competitive salaries based on experience and market data. The salary range for this position is $138,000 - $264,200. Salaries may vary by location and are supplemented by pay incentives based on performance.
