- Serve as a liaison between physician practices and main provider locations, assuring compliance of policies and procedures and maintaining a productive and financially secure work environment. Will take responsible for multiple assigned providers and their office staff at multiple locations.
- Collaborate with Physician Practice Director to develop departmental goals, objectives, polices, and procedures that meet the hospital pharmacy service needs and maintain systems, techniques and procedures appropriate to physician practices.
- Participate in the design and setup of new facilities and existing facilities scheduled for renovation
- Coordinates marketing efforts for physicians practice and promotion of special events for clinics.
- Lead Accounts Receivable management processes in assigned clinics; developing, maintaining, and attaining budget objectives. Submit capital and operating budgets to Director for approval.
- Identify opportunities to maximize capital and budget resources in order to improve service levels or reduce costs.
- Human Resources Functions: Evaluate hiring needs, creates master staffing plans, and identifies educational and training needs of department staff in conjunction with internal HR team. Evaluates the performance of assigned personnel to assure department is staffed with individuals who reflect behavior and performance consistent with the hospital's mission and value statements. Take disciplinary actions as appropriate and is in accordance with hospital policy.
- Communicates and coordinates with the assigned practices and physicians daily to assess operational gaps and process improvement opportunities. Advises Director of systems problems which negatively impact or prevent the effective operations of their department.
- Communicates regularly with departmental staff to keep them abreast of information which will assist in the safe and effective performance of their jobs and to create an understanding of hospital wide performance and direction.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or a healthcare related field and 5+ years of work experience in a healthcare facility. Will also consider an Associates with 4 additional years of experience or no degree with 15+ years of work experience.
- Background and work experience in a multi-specialty and multi-location physician practice organization.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and mentorship/teaching skills.
- Ability to develop, organize and implement new programs and process improvement initiatives.

This Physicians Practice Manager will work closely with the Practice Director to oversee all operations, financial, and personnel operations for their assigned practice location (Gwinnett County).
