- Verify employees are following standards set by the company, the FDA, and the EPA.
- Ensure the company's policy for cleaning and sanitization of filling lines, batching tanks, and accessory manufacturing tools are followed.
- Inspect products and batch records during all stages of production.
- Write reports to share observations about compliance and recommend changing the systems and processes, as necessary.
- Calibrate quality control measures to make sure they function properly.
- Identify ways to improve existing processes and systems to improve quality and consistency.
- Train employees to understand regulations, follow procedures, and work within systems.
- Immediate reporting of products, components, or materials failing to meet specifications.
- Demonstrate understanding of company quality policies and standard operating procedures pertaining to quality and laboratory.
- Filing of documentation associated with receipt or testing of products, components and materials.
- Preparation of CMC Certificates of Analysis for finished product.
- Assist in investigation of quality aberrations.
- Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
- Participates in cGMP, quality, safety and SOP training.
- Applies all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

- Problem-solving.
- Time management to manage multiple projects at once.
- A.S. or B.S. in chemistry, biology, or related field preferred but not required.
- One year of laboratory experience preferred.
- Some experience with cGMP and quality assurance preferred.
- Frequently: Walking, standing, lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 10lbs, some exposure to dust/fumes/or chemicals in a laboratory environment (appropriate PPE is provided).
- Constantly: Simple hand grasping, use of special visual or auditory protective equipment (PPE).
