    Description
    Senior Civil Engineers at Binnies

    Binnies, part of the RSK Group, is looking for Senior Civil Engineers to work within our Delivery group on Non-Infra UK Water Engineering projects.

    Functioning as a technical specialist and/or in a lead role, you will be developing and applying advanced engineering techniques, concepts, and approaches.

    Binnies offers flexible/hybrid/part-time and remote working patterns with a flexible UK base location.


    Key Duties and Responsibilities:
    Provide guidance and direction on department design guides, standards, systems, and applicable engineering codes and standards.


    Prepare calculations and develop civil engineering deliverables (models, drawings, and reports) while adhering to project budgets, schedules, and quality systems.

    Coordinate with internal and external team members on complex projects.

    Develop recommendations for materials and construction techniques.

    Develop specifications for the identification, collection, and management of data for engineering work.

    Serve as a technical specialist and provide advice and guidance to project teams.

    Mentor and develop junior staff.

    Comply with all aspects of health & safety duties of Designers.


    Person Specification:
    Civil Engineering Design and/or Hydraulics/Structural background

    Experience in design and build

    Knowledge & Experience in the design and checking of non-infrastructure water/wastewater treatment works design

    Ability to lead and manage a team of civil engineers and associated specialists (structural, geotechnical, and hydraulics) and to interface with other disciplines in the production of engineering deliverables
