Seeking an ambitious and qualified individual to join our team in Temple, TX.

Primary responsibilities will include/require the following:

• Performing accurate, reproducible analysis of lubricants and coolants.
• Reporting on samples of incoming raw materials and manufacturing work orders.
• Proper and timely completion of all sample logging and approval and reporting of any deviations or abnormal testing results.
• Operation of various laboratory instruments including startup, preoperational checks/adjustments, standardization, sample preparation, routine analysis, results recording/transfer, shutdown, maintenance and malfunction diagnosis.
• Inventory consumables, clean reusable supplies, management of sample retention.
• Internal auditing of Quality System and processes and procedures.
• Initiate and collaborate on continuous improvement projects.
• Help coordinate preventative maintenance, repair work orders and calibrations.
• Follow all relevant ISO 9001 Quality System Work Instructions and Procedures.
• Observe safety regulations and use correct procedure in the handling materials.
• Exhibit good analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to continually improve skills and processes.
• Other tasks and duties as needed/assigned.

This position requires laboratory experience with a chemistry or science-related degree preferred. Pre-employment physical exam and drug screen required.

This is a full-time role with potential for overtime. Schedule set by Plant Management based on needs and may vary slightly from week to week.

Facility currently operates first shift Monday - Thursday, 10-hour days, 6 AM - 4:30 PM with Friday operations or extended hours based on additional demand.
