Overview:
As a
QMHP A/C/T you will be working in our mobile crisis program.

In this position you will have the opportunity to assist individuals who are in crisis and need assistance with either stepping up or stepping down to more appropriate services.


Mobile Crisis Response services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide for rapid response, assessment and early intervention to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis.

Services are deployed in real-time to the location of the individual experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The purpose of this service is to i) de-escalate the behavioral health crisis and prevent harm to the individual or others; ii) assist in the prevention of an individual's acute exacerbation of symptoms; iii) development of an immediate plan to maintain safety; and iv) coordination of care and linking to appropriate treatment services to meet the needs of the individual. The service is approved for 8 hours (32 units).


Job Duties:
You will be responsible for assisting individuals who are experiencing a crisis.

You will be responsible for completing Individualized service plans, daily progress notes, discharge summaries and other clinical documentation as needed.

You will also be required to attend mandatory trainings and supervisions.


Job Requirements:
You must be a registered QMHP A/C/T
. Additionally, you will need to have completed the required DBHDS approved mobile crisis training.


Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

  • Proficiency in mental health counseling techniques and interventions
  • Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum
  • Knowledge of cognitivebehavioral therapy and other evidencebased practices
  • Strong data collection and analysis skills
  • Ability to provide crisis intervention and support during challenging situations
  • Understanding of PTSD care and treatment approaches
  • Excellent patient care skills, including compassion and empathy
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health conditions
  • Ability to conduct individual and group counseling sessions effectively
